I pray that I can have healthy closure with someone I’ve been dating for a month. He’s an atheist and was raised by Jewish parents. He is sweet, but has had a way of shutting down and pushing me away. He says he’s been hurt in past relationships. I initially wanted to be friends with him, but I don’t think he knows that. I fell in love with him, but he makes it a point to mention me not having a job and seems concerned about me being able to contribute, even though I have been looking since my last work assignment ended. I really would like for his salvation and that of his parents and any friends of his who may not be saved. I also feel incredibly hurt by how he has reacted to me sometimes. He apologizes, but other times he says stuff in a way that is harsh. I just really want to overcome the hurt and the difficulty of having loved him so I can move forward. I also would like to pray to have a job and to have financial stability.
