THIS WEEK :
Grace Built Channel Video Message
Why God Says, “Wait for the Lord”
When You Want to Fix Everything Now
This video explores the biblical perspective on waiting when you feel an urgent need to force a resolution in your life. It emphasizes that waiting is not synonymous with inactivity or helplessness, but rather a faithful act of trust in God’s timing.
Key Takeaways:
* The Pressure to Act: Often, when we face uncertainty or closed doors, fear drives us to take control. We mistake movement for progress and fear that delay equals danger.
* Biblical Waiting vs. Control: Biblical waiting is the refusal to run ahead of God out of discomfort. It is distinct from trying to manufacture our own outcomes.
* Strength in Stillness: Psalm 27:14 serves as a foundation, calling us to be strong and take heart while we wait. True strength lies in remaining faithful, refusing shortcuts, and letting God handle what we cannot control.
* Exposing Motives: Waiting reveals where our true confidence lies. It challenges us to ask whether we trust God’s wisdom, even when progress is invisible or the answer is slower than we expected.
Highlights for Later:
* The video further examines historical examples of Abram, David, Esau, and Joseph to illustrate the dangers of impatience and the rewards of practicing restraint and trust. It concludes with practical steps to discern when to act and when to wait faithfully.
ALWAYS REMEMBER:
We are all members of one body, and when we join together in prayer, we become stronger and more effective. Each individual is united in a powerful, mountain-moving prayer that benefits the entire body. We are Prayer Warriors 365!
