THIS WEEK
Video Message
Relationship with God- Vine & Vinedresser Derek Prince
Linda McClinton will give her first presentation to our Prayer Warriors 365 Friday night online group. Please join us as we support and encourage Linda while she shares two short video messages from Derek Prince’s powerful teaching series, “Relationship with God,” Parts 1 and 2.
Through Jesus’ parable of the vine and the branches in John 15:1–8, Derek Prince reveals that Christianity is not merely a collection of doctrines, rules, or theological beliefs. At its very heart, Christianity is a living, personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Because we naturally perceive the world through our physical senses, spiritual realities can sometimes be difficult to understand. Jesus used parables—familiar examples from the natural world—to help us comprehend the unseen and eternal truths of God’s Kingdom. As 2 Corinthians reminds us, the things we see are temporary, but the things we cannot see are eternal.
In this teaching, we will explore the beautiful spiritual meaning behind the vine and the branches:
- Jesus Christ is the true Vine.
- God the Father is the Gardener or Vinedresser.
- The Holy Spirit is the life-giving sap flowing through the vine.
- True disciples and believers are the branches.
A branch cannot survive or produce fruit apart from the vine. In the same way, we must continually abide in Jesus, receiving the life and power of the Holy Spirit. Remaining connected to Christ is the source of our spiritual strength, growth, and fruitfulness.
Come ready to deepen your relationship with God and gain a greater understanding of the eternal realities revealed through His Word.
Please join us this Friday evening as we gather online for fellowship, prayer, and this meaningful presentation.
